I know I’m a little late to the copper homeware trend, but I’ve been thinking about adding some copper accessories to the spare bedroom. Since I’ve been busy googling and Pinteresting (is that a thing?) copper accessories I thought I would share what I’ve found with you. Hopefully, there will be a post showing the finished room soon.
Lighting
I love copper lights and think they are such an easy way to change the look of a room. I will definitely be adding some copper lighting to the room. (From top left to bottom right) The first item is a bit of a wishlist item (especially at £385, OUCH) but if you’re feeling flush the light is from John Lewis (I’m super jealous as its gorgeous). However, if your budget is a little smaller this shade from Dunelm is so similar but only costs £14.99 (what a bargain). I’m sure you’ve seen this shade from ASDA on so many blogs already but it really is a beautiful light shade and at only £20 it won’t break the bank. How pretty is this teardrop pendant from Homebase, at £99.99 it is a little pricey but would look great in any room? Another ceiling light is this one from Marks and Spencer which costs £49.50. I like that it comes with a copper fitting as well as the shade (looks much better than a plain white one). Although if you want to add a copper pendant to go with your new shade Homebase sells one for £15. Now I only have to choose one to go in my room (easier said than done). As well as a new ceiling light a bedroom needs lamps to make it feel cosy. There are so many options out there but it is a challenge to find any on a budget. I’ve found a few I like. This traditional bedside lamp is only £35 from Tesco, I think it looks so much more expensive than it is. I love this lamp from Marks and Spencer but at £69 it’s a little out of budget (considering I would need to buy 2). This cute desk lamp is only £15 from Tesco (yes I said £15), meaning I could get a set of bedside lights for only £30. Lastly, this desk lamp is £24.99 from Homebase - I’m tempting to pick this up to go on my desk.
Accessories
How beautiful is this clock from Not On The High Street (£38)? The photo frame below is from Tesco they have a few different sizes, this one is 8×10 and costs £30.40. The rest of the accessories are from H&M. If you’re looking for low-cost ways to add some copper to your home definitely check out H&M home. I’m pretty sure I’ll be making an order come pay day. The tray is only £14.99, the cake stand is only £4.99, the mirror is £12.99 and the basket is only £12.99 (all H&M).
